March 5, 2011---- I wanted to write down all the words Logan can say. I know I've written some here and there but I wanted to make a list: mommy, daddy, papa, binkie, eyes, nose, mouth, milk, fish, nice, cool, basket, duck, owie, ball, swing, bye, hi, car, bird, yes, again, barney, drink, tub/bath, sock, shoe, book, jacket, coat. then he can moo like a cow, quack, bark. March 26, 2011----Logan has been doing the funniest things lately and I wanted to write about them. Last night he saw that I had bought a scrabble game and he wanted to play it. He pulled it out of the walmart bag and kept handing it to me. It sounded like he was saying toy. But who knows. I kept telling him it was mommy's game and we'd play it in the morning. It was time for bed. I went upstairs to get my pj's on and Logan ready for bed. He was slowly climbing the stairs but I didn't realize he had dragged the game up with him until I heard him at the top of the stairs with a clank. I started laughing. The cute kid had dragged the game to the top because he wanted to play it. I got him ready for bed. We were saying prayers and he hands me the game. :) He was not happy when I told him we would play it tomorrow. April 11, 2011---Yesterday Logan and I were walking to church. Right as we walked into the parking lot I saw Ryan walking out of the church. He was holding the door for some people so he didn't hear Logan for a minute. But I said, "Logan look there's Daddy. Say hi daddy." Logan looked up and saw Ryan, got excited and yelled "Hi Daddy!" while waving. It was really cute. Ryan heard him after a couple times. And he loved it. He was talking about it all day. I just thought it was so cute that last night Ryan was still asking me about it. He thought it was so cute of Logan to be saying hi daddy. He talked about it all day. What a cute, proud daddy. April 29, 2011 ---Logan is talking soooo much. He just babbles all day. It's not words just noises but he acts like he's telling quite the story. It's pretty funny. He's got animals and their noises down. The other day he was in the backseat making noises but I was talking to my mom so I wasn't listening very closely. My mom asked what he was saying so I turned around and he was making a siren sound then saying truck. I was like, "OH yeah that's a fire truck." I heard him saying truck but I didn't know if it was truck or duck or something else but then I heard him doing the siren before he said truck. He knew exactly what he was saying. That was pretty cute. May 28, 2011---Logan is still talking like crazy and changing so much all the time. Ryan and I just laugh at him. He cracks us up. His latest thing is to scream at the top of his lungs. He does it when he's excited. He says "what's that?" and "here you go" and "I'm hungry" and we love to hear him say "basketball." That's a big word for a little kid. He asks "what's that" for every noise he hears. June 11,2011----This afternoon we were downstairs watching Barney and this song came on and Logan was dancing. It talks about growing up and getting bigger, not smaller and growing friendlier. He was squatting down just like they do on the movie and standing on his tiptoes. Then they hug each other when they say they're getting friendlier so he was saying to me, "Hug, Hug." I was cracking up laughing June 17, 2011---For the past couple weeks Logan will put his right hand in his pocket and walk around like that. It looks so cute. It makes Ryan and me laugh. He also has started saying his name but it sounds like "kogan" or "kokan" I always think he's trying to say cookie and for some reason it sounds funny. I question him, "You want a cookie?" And he keeps saying "kokan" then I realize he's saying his name. August 16, 2011---I kept telling Logan yesterday, "Grandma and Grandpa are coming on an airplane." So all day he kept saying, "mogama, mogama airplane." Whenever my mom comes she has her handful of pills that Logan is interested in. She puts her pills in her hand and does this shake, shake thing. The other day I was taking my prenatal and Logan was watching me. He thinks the bottle has candy in it so I've been trying to teach him that they're medicine and they're yucky. So he's watching me take this and he puts his hands together and says, "shake, shake." I started laughing and said, "That's right, that's what Grandma does with her pills huh?" He's very smart. October 27, 2011----(trip to California, at Disneyland) We went in the little petting zoo area. Logan wasn't scared of all the little goats, he went right up and pet them. When it was time to go he held out his hand, waved to them and said, "Bye sheep." I started laughing. My mom and I were in line for the Pooh bear ride. These people in front of us were getting their friend's attention. They were yelling, "Joe!" and waving. As soon as the line moved, Logan yelled, "Joe!" and started waving. He copies everything people say. Mom and I were laughing. Logan's been saying lately (to himself), "Careful Logan," when he does something where he might fall or get hurt. It's so funny that he tells himself to be careful. November 18, 2011----"Mommy, lion said ROAR!" That's what Logan said to me this morning when I went in his room to get him out of bed. :) December 5, 2011---last sunday when I got dressed in my sunday clothes and he says, "Mommy you cute." :) Aww I love it. January 2, 2012---Logan was a little stink in sacrament. Things were going well when he was sitting across the aisle with Cami but when he came back he started whining like no other. He was saying, "More bread. More bread," during the sacrament. Apparently he was easily understood because my mom was sitting up on the stand and knew exactly what he was saying. Ryan had to take him out and we NEVER take him out at home. " January 20, 2012---Logan makes me laugh. He wanted me to play on his cars table with him. I needed to feed Jordan so I figured if I sat on his Lightning McQueen chair by the table I could do both. I asked Logan where his Lightning chair was. He looked around, didn't see it and said, "Lightning hiding." Then started yelling, "Lightning chair where are you? Lightning chair where are you?" He got on the ground and said something about Pluto then started crawling and sniffing the ground. :) LOL. He was trying to find Lightning by smelling him out like Pluto does on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Last night I put him to bed and could hear him playing in his bed like he does every night. I muted the tv to hear what he was saying and heard him singing the alphabet song over and over. :) I was laughing. He's so funny. February 15, 2012---when we say something to him, he'll be walking away then turn around and say, "What you say?" It cracks Ryan and I up. He also says, "Oh my gosh" and "what the heck?" Today we were sitting at his cars table and he was saying, "Oh my gosh." I kept silently laughing but he knew I was laughing and he kept saying it. He was doing it just for my reaction but sometimes he'll just say it over and over. It's a good thing I don't say inappropriate things or he'd probably be saying them too. Ok a couple other funny things he says. I always say mister to him and Jordan. He started saying something the other day and it sounded like "messer." I didn't know what he saying then all of a sudden it clicked. He was saying mister. He'll say it to me in the same context I say it to him. he puts his hands on his hips, makes his mad face and says, "Mommy I mad at you!" That's pretty funny too, although I don't know where he got that one. He was funny in Carlsbad saying, "I want to play with my friends," meaning his cousins. Or he'd say, "Where my friends go?" May 15, 2012---Logan has been saying something to Jordan lately and I couldn't tell what it was. Well I figured it out. He's copying what his mom says all the time. He's been saying "hi sweetie" but he says it fweetie. Haha oh he's a funny kid. May 20, 2012---There were a ton of kids on this playground and he went right up the steps to go down the slides. There was a twisty slide he got ready to go down and there was a little girl behind him. He turned around and said, "It's not your turn. It's my turn." She was a little older and was probably like, chill dude. It was funny. I was like, Logan where did that come from? Then the next day I took him out to our playground. There was a little boy out there playing. Logan ran over and said, "I a big boy. I big and drong (strong)." I just started laughing. Where does he come up with these things? He also told me I had a big bum the other morning. I had gotten Jordan up and was nursing him in bed. Logan came in our room when he woke up and was playing with Ryan. I was out of the covers and laying on my side. Logan came over behind me and was hitting my bum. Then he says, "Big bum mommy." Ryan and I were like, what? Ryan said mommy doesn't have a big bum. Logan was like, "Yeah mommy big bum." Thanks Logan. August 30, 2012---Logan gets a couple words mixed up, it's so funny. He says first when he should say yet and vice versa. At lunch or dinner he'll say, "I'm not done first." Instead of yet. There's a couple other instances where he'll say it. I love it. He's getting very sneaky too. The other night Krista was watching him. She has this candy called HI-Chew in her purse and he knows it. Apparently he told her to play hide and seek. He told her to go hide. But he didn't start counting. She found him in the kitchen with a chair pulled over to the counter so he could reach her purse, unwrapping one of the Hi-Chews. How sneaky is he? November 7, 2012---Logan's memory is so good. He has said the funniest things this past week. A couple months ago we cut Jordan's hair and I was so sad about it. I kept saying how he wasn't my baby anymore, he looked so grown up. So Logan and I were in line at the grocery store and for some reason he starts talking about how Jordan isn't a baby anymore. He was saying, "We cut Jordan's hair and you so sad about it. He not a baby anymore. He a big boy like me. And you so sad he not a baby anymore." I started laughing because I had no idea where it came from and how he remembered me saying that. Then he came up to me another day and says, "Mommy we need a new baby. Jordan not a baby anymore. He getting so big like me. We need a new baby." November 30, 2012----We got him a life jacket and then he was swimming all over the pool, jumping off the diving board and everything. After jumping off the diving board he was swimming over to the side and he said, "Mommy, look I such a good boy. I swimming." :-) He's so cute.
